Meet the Owner
Hello, and welcome to my site! My name is Tiffany Foronda, and I founded Tiffany Kay Events by Design in March of 2018. I am a Bay Area native with a passion for working with people and love for planning!
The name Tiffany Kay is a combination of mine and my daughter Kaleigh's (Kay for short) name. I wanted to be able to incorporate a small piece of my family into the business name. Luckily, she has sparked an interest of her own in helping me with events!
My work life has primarily been in hospitality catering sales and events and most recently in corporate marketing. Event planning has always been something I have enjoyed. With almost two decades of experience, I have coordinated everything from weddings, birthday parties, retirements, etc... to conventions and corporate meetings of all size.
My heart lies with planning social events. Working on a more personal and creative level with my clients is what keeps me inspired.

A couple fun facts...
I'm a wife and mother of two. I'm a health & fitness enthusiast and enjoy doing CrossFit several times a week. I'm also an official "Dance Mom" and love every minute of it! My favorite food is sushi, and I have a "small" addiction to Boba!

"All of the planning for a wedding comes down to the "day of" events. Tiffany was the maestro, bringing together all shapes and sizes of people and things and vendors to create the masterpiece that seem to effortlessly unfold while we enjoyed every natural moment with our family and friends. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful day.
Tiffany helped us plan our Aug 2018 wedding at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton. We hired her after a bad experience with another planner, and she seamlessly picked up the pieces and got us back on track after our first meeting with her. My fiancee and I were super busy with commute in opposite direction and kids so we needed a full service planner who could manage all the details. Tiffany met with us weekly, helped us with decisions, kept us well apprised of anything we needed to handle, and was always available (or responsive if she was busy) when we had questions or needed help with something.
The wedding ceremony and reception turned out beautifully, surpassing our high expectations, and we could not have done it without Tiffany (with help from her husband--thanks Chris!)."

"If you're looking for the best wedding coordinator in the Bay Area, look no more!! Tiffany was amazing to work with. She was very diligent in ensuring that the wedding went as planned. She went above and beyond with coordinating with the venue staff and vendors to make sure things were set up correctly. Her husband Chris was there assisting her during the rehearsal and day of, which was a huge help! Tiffany and Chris did an awesome job assisting with the set up of the venue exactly as we wanted it. They made sure the flow of the wedding was spot on, and were able to adjust perfectly as needed. "Tiffany was our day-of coordinator for our wedding day, keep in mind our ceremony was located 20+ miles from our evening reception. Tiffany did an awesome job contacting, coordinating and following up with all of our vendors (reception on-site coordinator, florist, cake, live-band, DJ, photobooth, photographer, videographer) to make sure everyone was on the same page and knew exactly where they were supposed to be and what the expectations were. As a couple, we were pretty organized with all of our wedding stuff but at the same time, we're pretty simple and just wanted to have fun with our family and some of our closest friends. We couldn't have been happier with how the whole day turned out, which I think speaks volumes to Tiffany's ability to really take the reigns and hit the ground running and be able to envision not just what everything would look like once it all comes together but how to get there.
We honestly don't know how our day would have gone if it weren't for Tiffany, she did a ton of BTS work that often gets overlooked: personally picking up our center-piece materials for 35 tables and favors for 330+ guests (and setting it up), picking up our burnt almond sheet cakes (because we absolutely had to serve cake from our favorite bakery in San Jose), dropping off flowers for the bridesmaids AND groomsmen, just to name a few things. I can't stress the importance of small details, if they're missed they can end up being catastrophic if not handled swiftly and correctly, but luckily none of that happened with Tiffany, everything was handled!
If you're a Bride (or Groom) looking for someone who can keep you and your Fiancée organized and on schedule for your big day, Tiffany would be a wonderful asset to your wedding team: 5-stars"

"Where to begin.... Tiffany was our day-of coordinator and partial event planner. Since my husband and I live in the LA area, but we are having our wedding the Bay Area, we needed someone organized, efficient, and detailed. Tiffany was amazing at contacting vendors, organizing contracts, setting up appointments, etc.; all on our behalf. Tiffany assisted us on our timeline, seating charts, vendors setup, flow, and final bills/tips. It was so easy to communicate with Tiffany. She was so kind with all my silly and endless wedding questions. She was highly responsive. On the day of the wedding, Tiffany and Chris F were one heck of team. They stayed from beginning (set up), until the end (break down). They were on top of everything and every one. I seriously had my dream wedding come true with the help of Tiffany and Chris F. Everyone had such a great time at our wedding. Everything flowed. There were no major hiccups at all that day! We had such a hectic timeline. Tiffany made sure we were on track the whole day.
